DB CAN NJ does not have membership dues, so we rely on donations, gifts and grants from our friends and community supporters to carry out our work.

DB CAN NJ spends 100% of its funds on programs and activities for the DeafBlind community. We have no salaried employees or overhead costs. All proceeds go to benefit the mission of DB CAN NJ. Here is what your donation may sponsor:

$35–one hour of SSP services
$50–one DeafBlind mentor’s leadership in a Culture Encounters workshop
$100–one hour with one tactile sign language interpreter
$500–one Culture Encounters of the DeafBlind Kind workshop
$700–facility rental for the annual Cornhole DOMination event
$1,200–cost of accessibility professionals for one online event: signed language interpreters, captionist, technology specialist and communication facilitators
